7-10-24 I enjoyed my dinner tonight. Liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage and a huge piece of chocolate creme pie. Delish! And the staff were very friendly and smiling! A refreshing change from other restaurants I’ve patronized and staff don’t speak nor smile! Kudos to S&S!

Interesting place. Never been to one before. Lot of people taking take out. Unfamiliar with ordering process ..but it's pretty easy ...you either order a la carte or pay for a combo. Some of the food servers (salad lady and dessert fella) were really nice to us. And our table service lady was kind too. Food was a bit....um....institutional...though I heard that the pecan pie was excellent

The food at S&S Cafeteria was delicious and the prices very reasonable. The service received was also excellent. I had liver and onions with rice pilaf as the main dish. For sides I had green beans, turnips, and cabbage. A slice of custard pie was dessert. I will definitely eat here again soon.

Homestyle cooking that is delicious and affordable. I have never gotten any dish here that was not good, even trying new things like Eggplant casserole! The 1.49 kids meals have been a huge help to my family. There is no where else you can go and get your child meat, two vegetables, jello, a roll, and a drink for 1.49 - plus it's like home cooking not fast food. We may eat here more than we eat at home, Great place and great people. They are amazing!!

My daughter got the string bean Salisbury steak rice and gravy with jello.Hubby and I both got fried fish.Mine with Mac, corn muffin, cabbage, and Lemon meringue.His with Mac n chz, Mexican corn bread(it has peppers inside) rice casserole (cheese, broccoli) and strawberry shortcake.

A true gem we drive miles out of 2ay to stop here. I heard there was a fire and it closed. I hope it opens again, we’ve been going and enjoying there food for decades and generations.
